1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the IntentLock mobile application ("App") operated by Noctave Labs Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202617783Z), a private limited company incorporated in Singapore ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

IntentLock is a daily goal-setting application that restricts access to other applications on your device until you have set your daily intentions. The App uses platform-provided APIs (Android foreground services and Apple Screen Time API) to manage app access on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account and Device Permissions

The App requires certain device permissions to function, including:

• Screen Time or accessibility permissions (to manage app blocking)
• Notification permissions (for reminders and streak updates)
• Background execution permissions (to maintain the blocking service)

You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though doing so may prevent the App from functioning as intended.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

IntentLock offers subscription plans (weekly and monthly) managed through RevenueCat and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent the App's security features or access restrictions.
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part of it.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Noctave Labs Pte. Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

The App is designed to restrict access to your device's applications. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the blocking functionality, including missed calls, messages, or notifications during active blocking periods.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Noctave Labs Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Noctave Labs Pte. Ltd. from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 7 through 10 survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
